A guide to how our booking system works

Need to book a car? It's quick and easy to book a GoGet by using the GoGet App, available on iPhone and Android, or you can do it via our website

Creating a booking works the same whether you book it via the app or the website

You will need to be a GoGet member to book a car or van. If you're not yet a member, it's quick & easy to sign up.

To book, log in to the app and you will land on the Search tab which will default to your current location if you have location services enabled, or to your favourite location (usually your home address) if you don't.

Type in the location you're looking to book in and the date and time.

Use the filters (in the top right corner) if you want to search for a particular vehicle type or vehicle feature.

Then, select the car you want to book by clicking on the green bar. Cars that are booked out, will be grey.

You can adjust the start and end times, Enter a trip comment or cost code, or add a booking promo. You will also see a minimum booking cost for the trip. Please note, this excludes costs like kilometres or tolls. Tap the cost to find out more about how this is calculated.

Click continue and you will see a breakdown of the minimum booking cost. From here you'll be able to confirm your booking.

If it's cheaper for your booking to be on the day rate instead of an hourly rate, the system will automatically convert it to the day rate.

Tip: It's always best to give yourself plenty of time on your trip and return and park the car, including refuelling the car if you need to. If you're late returning your car and don't extend your booking, you will be fined.

Remember: All GoGet trips are return trips. You must have returned the car to its pod before the booking ends.
